    UTILITIES

Power providers are on the front lines of America's digital infrastructure buildout. ADIC supports utilities in managing load growth, infrastructure investment, rate structures, and grid planning for large digital infrastructure loads — while maintaining reliable and affordable service for existing customers.

    Overview

    WHY THIS MATTERS

The expansion of digital infrastructure will require significant investment in generation, transmission, and grid infrastructure. ADIC supports policies that enable utilities, developers, and energy providers to meet growing power demand through responsible infrastructure investment while maintaining a reliable and affordable electric system. America should not have to choose between digital infrastructure growth and energy reliability — with thoughtful planning, investment, and collaboration, we can achieve both.

ADIC membership gives utilities access to policy intelligence, grid reliability research, community engagement resources, and industry collaboration with developers, operators, and energy providers. Members participate in working groups on energy planning, rate structures, and responsible development.
